Electrical Dispatcher In this role, you’ll be the central hub of communication by coordinating technicians, supporting customers, and ensuring service operations run smoothly around the clock. Requirements
- Experience in dispatching, scheduling, or operations (preferred but not required)
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, techs, and leadership
- Fast, confident problem-solving abilities
- Comfort with dispatch/scheduling systems (ServiceTitan experience is a plus)
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Availability Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Daily Technician Schedules
- Partner with the Service Manager to maintain organized, efficient technician routes and daily movement.
- Monitor technician start, departure, and job completion times—adjusting schedules as needed.
- Maintain an updated matrix of technicians’ routes, specialties, start points, and tools to ensure the right tech goes to the right job every time.
- Stay in constant contact to anticipate challenges related to routes, parts, or timing—and make quick, informed adjustments.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding technician status, scheduling, and special requests.
- Track vacation, sick time, and weekend rotations to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Look 2–3 days ahead to anticipate staffing needs, follow up on recommended work, and prepare technicians for upcoming jobs.
- Contact customers regarding pending parts and keep them informed on job progress.
- Quickly identify issues related to routes, availability, or customer requirements to maintain smooth daily operations.
