Job Summary: Our office in Greenville, SC is looking for an Electrical Designer/Project Manager to join our growing team. The project clientele includes K-12 Education, Higher Education, Commercial, Health Care, Science and Technology, municipal and institutional facilities. Our Electrical Designers/Engineers use AutoCAD and REVIT to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for commercial spaces.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various types of facilities
Ability to perform basic electrical engineering calculations
Experience in designing systems in accordance with the NEC and IECC
Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter that requires little direction to get moving on a project

Nice To Haves

Understanding of Mechanical and Plumbing Systems design is a plus

Responsibilities

Layout and design of electrical distribution
Lighting design and lighting controls
Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing systems
Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
Oversee and manage projects
Write/edit project specifications
Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
Code compliance research
Coordinate work with other disciplines
Perform QA/QC of design work
