Job Summary: Our office in Greenville, SC is looking for an Electrical Designer/Project Manager to join our growing team. The project clientele includes K-12 Education, Higher Education, Commercial, Health Care, Science and Technology, municipal and institutional facilities. Our Electrical Designers/Engineers use AutoCAD and REVIT to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for commercial spaces.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various types of facilities
  • Ability to perform basic electrical engineering calculations
  • Experience in designing systems in accordance with the NEC and IECC
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter that requires little direction to get moving on a project

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Mechanical and Plumbing Systems design is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Layout and design of electrical distribution
  • Lighting design and lighting controls
  • Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing systems
  • Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
  • Oversee and manage projects
  • Write/edit project specifications
  • Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
  • Code compliance research
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines
  • Perform QA/QC of design work
