P2S is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer with 2–7 years of experience to join our award-winning team. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
- 2–7 years of engineering design experience post-graduation or equivalent professional experience
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with the California Building Code and the National Electrical Code
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, Newforma, and engineering software tools
Nice To Haves
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification preferred
- LEED Accreditation is a plus
- PE License is a plus
- Membership in professional engineering associations is a plus
- Experience with Net Zero Energy/Carbon design is a plus
- Project management experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- review existing as-built drawings
- conduct field investigations
- set up multi-discipline models
- coordinate design schedules
- perform feasibility studies
- prepare schematic designs
- perform energy modeling using tools like EnergyPro or IES VE
- develop single-line diagrams and load schedules
- design lighting systems and controls
- engineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systems
- conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies
