As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to advance the equipment that supports our technology. Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases. You will also coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.

  • Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of complex electrical issues
  • Full ownership of electrical design from concept to production: develop and specify new monitor/control systems, modify existing assemblies, create schematics, PCB layout, and detailed drawings/specifications of complex scope
  • Serve as primary technical interface with internal and external customers on complex electrical/project issues
  • Drive concepts through implementation for complex product issues and improvements
  • Independently generate product specifications
  • Specify, perform, and document engineering bring-up, validation, and analysis of new devices (complex scope)
  • Define, coordinate, perform, and generate engineering test plans and reports
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of hands-on electrical design experience in industrial/product environments
  • Proven expertise in analog/digital circuit design for industrial tool control and automation
  • Strong proficiency in PCB design using OrCAD and/or Altium Designer
  • Experience with high-speed signaling, transmission lines, impedance control, and signal integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to take designs from concept through schematics, layout, prototyping, bring-up, validation, and production release
  • Comfortable with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, etc.) and hands-on debugging
  • Self-directed, thrives in ambiguous/fast-paced environments with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions with customers and suppliers
  • This is a high-impact individual contributor role requiring ownership, technical depth, and the ability to deliver results independently.
  • Soldering/rework skills a strong plus
