As an Electrical Control Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the electrical reliability of our equipment and systems. You will apply advanced diagnostics, deep technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety to help ensure our manufacturing operations perform at the highest standard.

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of AC and DC drive systems
  • Thorough understanding of speed feedback devices, theory, and operation
  • Working knowledge of temperature controls, sensors, and thermal components
  • Strong understanding of PID loops, control logic, and automated processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot Ethernet communications, industrial networks, and connectivity issues
  • Proficiency with PLC and HMI systems, including communications paths, program navigation, and controlled edits
  • Deep understanding of electrical circuits, components, and power electronics
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose, test, and repair motors, drives, and electrical control systems
  • Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostic tools and instrumentation
  • Ability to select alternative components when original parts are unavailable

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and restoring machinery and electrical systems across all production areas
  • Maintaining and supporting electrical infrastructure, including AC/DC drives, motors, sensors, and control systems
  • Applying mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic expertise to optimize equipment operation
  • Diagnosing faults in motors, drives, circuits, electronic components, and plant control systems
  • Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, control drawings, and technical manuals
  • Navigating PLC programs for troubleshooting, communications diagnostics, and basic controlled edits
  • Supporting Ethernet-based communications systems through device connection, network analysis, and integration
  • Performing equipment testing with diagnostic instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized electrical tools
  • Selecting replacement electrical components when OEM parts are unavailable
  • Identifying root causes of equipment failure and supporting long-term corrective actions to improve safety, quality, and reliability
