About The Position

Automatic Handling International, Inc. has been supplying the Global Fortune 500 Consumer Products Manufacturing Industry as a worldwide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of custom and patented handling and packaging systems since 1972.

Summary:
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics to wire large manufacturing equipment to code.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Basic knowledge of electricity and electrical circuits
• Manual dexterity to adequately work with wires, use hand tools, and handle small components
• Ability to competently operate hand and power tools
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• At least two (2) years’ experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Cutting and bending conduit
• Wire devices and components to the back of the junction box (terminate wiring)
• Wire equipment back to the control panel
