About The Position

Electrical Apprentice The Electrical Apprentice supports licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. This position is designed to provide hands-on training while developing the skills, knowledge, and work habits required to advance toward Journeyman Electrician status. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and mount electrical boxes Install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels under supervision Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly Test electrical systems using appropriate testing devices Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and electrical codes Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on job sites Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members Attend required training, classes, and apprenticeship schooling Safety Responsibilities Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately Participate in safety meetings and job hazard analyses Work in compliance with OSHA and local electrical codes Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Opportunity to advance to Journeyman Electrician and Lead Electrician roles Performance Expectations Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork Show continuous improvement in skills and knowledge Follow directions and accept feedback constructively
