About The Position

Electrical Apprentice Detroit Continuum Services is seeking an apprentice with 1-3 years experience. . As an electrician apprentice at Allied, you’ll work as part of a dedicated team upgrading a wide variety of commercial and industrial properties. Our electricians complete various tasks related to upgrading commercial buildings as part of their day-to-day job duties.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years experience
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to climb and work from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and elevated platforms
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces such as ceilings, mechanical rooms, and utility shafts
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs of tools, materials, and equipment
• Ability to perform overhead work and maintain awkward or static positions for extended periods
• Ability to use hand and power tools requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and small print labels

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10 is a plus, but is not required

Responsibilities

• New commercial installations
