Electrical Apprentice
About The Position
We are seeking motivated and dependable experienced Electrical Apprentices to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals who want to build a long-term career in the electrical trade through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience on commercial and industrial projects. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair work while learning industry standards, safety practices, and technical skills. You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable on-the-job training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years experience in electrical work
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (as required)
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, if applicable
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 preferred or willingness to obtain
Responsibilities
- Assist with installing conduit, wiring, fixtures, and electrical equipment
- Pull wire, terminate devices, and support basic panel work under supervision
- Safely use hand and power tools, including drills, benders, and meters
- Help read and follow basic blueprints, schematics, and instructions
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
- Support daily crew activities and jobsite setup
- Communicate with foremen and journeymen and ask questions to learn
- Participate in apprenticeship training and complete required coursework
