About The Position

Electrician’s Apprentice needed for a long-term commercial project in Pella. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational experience with bending EMT conduit and to gain more skills and secure steady, year-round work. Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate: $16-$18 (DOE) Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7 AM – 4 PM ( 40+ hours per week ) Perks: Weekly Pay, Healthcare Benefits, and Earned PTO on first day of work and use on day 60. Growth: Opportunity to learn advanced commercial skills on-site. Stability: Potential for 1+ year of steady work. Project Details Immediate Start: Start next day upon approval. Onboarding: No background check or drug test required. Must have 2 ID's for I9 Additional tasks: Help electricians by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying, or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools. Clean work area and wash parts.

Requirements

1–2 years of electrical experience, specifically bending EMT conduit
Has ET card
Must speak and understand English well; the Foreman prioritizes clear communication
Must have basic hand tools (pliers, strippers, multi-bit driver, tape measure, level, etc.) and a small power drill.
PPE
Strong work ethic and punctual attendance and working safely are priorities
1-2 EMT
