Electrical Apprentice
About The Position
Washington-based Sea-Tac Electric, is a full-service electrical services company with 35 years of expertise in electrical design engineering, new building electrical design-build construction, electrical repairs and service, voice and data structured cabling systems, and security systems for commercial properties. We are seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic team and exude a passion for the field. #SEATAC #Industria Sea-Tac Electric is a participating contractor in the CITC Apprenticeship Program. In Accordance with our agreement, we do not hire trainees or apprentices outside of the CITC Program. To be considered for apprenticeship opportunities with Sea-Tac Electric, individuals must be actively enrolled in the CITC Apprenticeship program and officially dispatched to our company through CITC. We are unable to make exceptions to this requirement. Apprentices who have been dispatched must complete a Sea-Tac Electric employment application prior to contacting our office.
Requirements
- Individuals must be actively enrolled in the CITC Apprenticeship program and officially dispatched to our company through CITC.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman and master electricians with the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems and components
- Pull wires, install conduit and mount electrical panels, boxes or devices under supervision
- Transport tools, materials and equipment to and from job sites, maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures, always wearing appropriate PPE, helping to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites
- Maintain inventory supplies and report material shortages to supervisor
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and communicate progress to supervisors
