Posting Close Date: 03/17/2026 The Ovintiv Permian Shared Services Operations Team is seeking a safety minded Electrical and Instrument Technician responsible for troubleshooting, programming and installation of new and repaired electrical equipment. Coordinate all projects & jobs between Ovintiv foreman and contractors and execution of work orders to ensure a safe and reliable solution. This job operates in a field environment, this role works in outside weather conditions through all seasons of the year. The employee is exposed to wet and or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, cold weather, extreme heat and vibration. This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm. Overtime will be required for value add work and with supervisor approval. Position also requires the ability to respond to call outs at nights, weekends and holidays as required (24/7 On Call rotation).
