Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical or Vocational education
  • 2 or more years of experience
  • Excellent trouble shooting ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license & excellent driving record.
  • Must successfully obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) as required by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at the start of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Journeyman or have participated in an accredited Apprenticeship Program.
  • Have industrial experience with HVAC/R
  • Experience in maintenance of crude oil pipeline system, pumping station(s) or delivery facilities or certified technical designation.
  • Familiarity with pertinent equipment (pumps, motors, valves, switchgear, flow meters, programmable logic controls, motor control centers, uninterruptible power supplies and instrumentation).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that electrical maintenance work is performed in compliance with regulations and company O&M procedure requirements.
  • Adhere to Company safety and work policies.
  • Perform emergency response first responder duties.
  • Complete all mandatory safety and technical training.
  • Complete all required Operator Qualified (OQ) training and certifications.
  • Develop and implement equipment lock-outs and routine open system job plans.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot terminal and pipeline system electrical equipment: control systems in sub stations, 24VDC, VFDs, 480V, 5KV systems, PLC systems, instrumentation systems, petroleum quality systems, and measurement systems.
  • Use maintenance management system, i.e. eMaint, to document maintenance work.
  • Collaborate with the Area Supervisor, Lead E/I Technician, Mechanical Technicians, Technical Specialists, to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance work efficiently and effectively
  • Assist Electrical & Mechanical Technicians in work group at various locations as required.
  • Maintain terminal and station records and update drawings as required.
  • Submit as-built drawings to drafting department to ensure area drawings are up to date.
  • Assist project teams with construction projects as assigned: design reviews, Hazops, pre-bid tours, pre-construction meetings, mechanical equipment installation, and equipment commissioning.
  • Communicate with and maintain a positive working relationship with the Operations and Maintenance personnel, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform terminal and station housekeeping activities.
  • Ensure Regional Objectives are kept in the forefront of day-to-day operations with Safety and performance of tasks critical to the goals set forth by Regional Management.
  • Responsible for site security.
  • Implement other duties assigned by management.
