About The Position

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To support the senior electrician and supervisor in operation of plant. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Degree or Technical school certification in electronics, instrumentation, electrical or similar field of study. Or a minimum of 10 years previous industrial/manufacturing electrical experience. Journeyman electrical license a plus. Ability to interpret electrical schematics. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Comply with plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices. Support senior electrical technician and maintenance supervisor. Oversee line installation and maintenance for plant equipment. Troubleshoot and repair DC and AC drive systems. Troubleshoot PLC system and repair them. Install, troubleshoot, and repair all electrical systems from main power to computer level. Coordinate and complete PM’s and work order. Help train other electrical technicians. Responsible for repair of major breakdowns. On call. Keep up with time and paperwork. Housekeeping. Assist other maintenance personnel as needed. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements
