Electric Motor Winder
About The Position
Service Pump & Supply is currently seeking an electric motor winder eager to join a well-established company. We help manage and protect the world’s most precious resource: water. And we’re successful because of our team’s skills and commitment to serving customers. As a motor winder in our EASA accredited and UL listed motor shop, you will maintain Service Pump’s high standards of service and quality. You’ll be part of a team while working independently in accordance with established safety and quality standards. You may be responsible for training less-experienced team members. This is a full-time permanent position that may require overtime work as needed. It requires bending, twisting, stretching, stooping, and kneeling, as well as the ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds. Compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience
Requirements
- Experience with small to large electric motors, stators, and/or electrical component winding
- Strong data collection and failure analysis skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High levels of dependability and self-motivation
- Commitment to continuous improvement and working as a team
- Clean drug screen
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical ability a plus
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, rebuild, rewind, and test low and medium voltage AC and DC motors.
- Collect data and maintain documentation.
- Focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment.
