What do we want you to bring to the table? We are looking for a team player with a “can-do” attitude, and good communication skills. You should have strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail. You must be able to work with a variety of computer programs, be confident running reports, and work hands-on with voting equipment machines. You should be comfortable working with others, directing projects, and training people on processes. Republican affiliation preferred. Please bring yourself, this is not a remote position. What do you need to have? High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 - 6 months of related experience serving in an administrative support position, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. You should have good computer skills and willingness to learn new computer systems and programs. What will you be doing? Our days vary a lot throughout the election cycle season. A typical day preparing for an election might start by checking inventory and supplies. You will continue by ordering documents and materials to assist with election preparation. You will help with election system setup including programming election geography, assist with ballot layout, proofreading documents, logic and accuracy testing, and programming of districts. You will troubleshoot issues as they arise. You will check and ensure proper maintenance of voting equipment. Monitoring ballot rotation and ensuring ballot security will also be a part of your responsibilities. You will supervise temporary staff during the election cycle. You will be helping with the election auditing and recount processes. You will also be assisting in the creation of memory sticks, tabulating results, and then uploading the results on election day. Ultimately, you will assist the management team by preparing necessary reports.
