ELC Assistant Summer Teacher Aide
About The Position
Growing Leaders ELC is hiring seasonal aides for the summer months! We have a variety of openings available, including both morning and afternoon shifts. Available Shifts: Morning: 8:00–11:00 AM, Afternoon: 2:30–5:30 PM Position Overview: Summer Aides support our preschool program by helping create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children. Responsibilities include assisting with activities, interacting with children during indoor and outdoor play, supporting daily transitions, and helping keep classrooms clean and organized. Afternoon aides also assist with end-of-day routines, including outside time and parent pick-up, and helping classrooms get ready for closing. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time, seasonal work, experience with children, or a fun summer job!
Requirements
- Hold current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications. (required before working in the classroom). We will train.
- At least 1 year of experience caring for children ages 2-3 years old
Nice To Haves
- Spanish speaking a plus.
