About The Position

Christie Clinic's department of Laboratory is seeking a PRN (as needed) EKG Technician/Phlebotomist at the Medical Hills clinic in Bloomington between the hours of Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm. This position may require occasional travel to other clinics to support the laboratory department. Duties include the performance of phlebotomy and EKG testing and other related exams on patients according to established standards and practices.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent.
• Completion of phlebotomy and EKG course (Can be substituted by one year’s experience)
• CPR

Nice To Haves

• 1 year: EKG Technician/Phlebotomy

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, for all age groups
• Perform EKGs
• Perform Lab safety audits
• Inventory Management of general lab supplies
• Maintain lab records and files
• Perform related work as required.
• Train new personnel, if needed
• Potential for travel to other lab locations. Mileage will be reimbursed after employee submits to supervisor.
