About The Position
JOIN US NOW as we are seeking an EKG SYSTEMS TECH who provides all cardio diagnostic services as ordered by physician in compliance with department's policies and procedures. Independently performs computer-assisted electrocardiograms according to specification in procedure manual; calls for support when required; processes EKG test results using computer system and edits EKG reports; assists with scanning of Holter monitor recordings and processing of results, which includes typing, sending, filing and scheduling; assists with evaluations of transtelephonic strips and processing of results; schedules and performs treadmill tests, processes test results and reports results to cardiologist; and assists with general clerical duties, which include testing, logbooks, billing and charge reconciliation. Located in Phoenix, AZ, this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED and one year healthcare experience or EKG or Arrhythmia certification required.
