About The Position

SUMMARY: Seeking a full-time (Monday - Friday) to join our busy Pediatric Cardiology Office in Miami. This position is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to pediatric providers in an office-based clinic setting. Involves frequent patient/parent interaction. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs EKG and ECHOS tests according to protocol and medical requirements and collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations. Observes and monitors the physical and mental status of study participants throughout shift. Assures proper documentation is in each study participant’s record. Responsible for accurate and timely data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting. Ensures all delegated responsibilities are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Identifies potential crisis situations; intervenes in a calm, professional manner. Always maintains confidentiality for study participants. Maintains current knowledge to assure a safe working environment and demonstrates practical application of all policies and procedures related to safety and infection control. Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience performing EKG and ECHOS tests. Bilingual- English/Spanish strongly preferred. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. The ability to maintain study participant confidentiality. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Attention to detail. JOB TYPE / WORK SCHEDULE:
