About The Position

Provides leadership and a high level of expertise in data analysis and interpretation for the Essentia Institute of Rural Health. Serves as the overall technical and data lead for EIRH research activities. Responsible for budgetary and professional oversight of the activities of the Research Informatics and Biostatistics departments, including but not limited to scheduling, payroll review and approval, employee performance management, policies and procedures, and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in a healthcare data or project management position including documented experience working in research environment
  • Research Data Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as healthcare administration, public health, business administration, human resources, research administration, health information management, data science, computer science, information systems, mathematics/statistics, natural sciences, or other STEM disciplines. Nursing or other clinical degrees are also acceptable

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements a program for achieving Informatics and Biostatistics departmental goals
  • Oversees EIRH data and statistical concerns on collaborative research projects, both internally and externally
  • Creates and develops reports and deliverables to EIRH Leadership and ensures availability and timely dissemination of accurate information in support of research projects
  • Plans and designs data extraction methodology and data layouts, providing analysis and interpretation.
  • Build external partnerships
  • Identifies and incorporates new data sources as appropriate
