About The Position

Talent Consultants is looking for a proactive EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Supervisor to lead our client’s safety initiatives and ensure compliance with EHS regulations across their operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily safety operations, conducting inspections, and providing training to improve workplace safety standards. The EHS Supervisor will be a key player in fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability among employees. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in EHS supervision or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and safety management systems.
  • Proven experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and training sessions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or similar certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily safety operations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Implement and enforce various EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement preventative measures.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of safety programs that promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, training sessions, and compliance metrics.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and assist in audits as needed.
  • Stay informed on current EHS regulations and trends to ensure the organization remains compliant.
