Reporting to the Manager, you will work onsite at our Holly Springs, NC facility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years' relevant experience including experience at a manufacturing site
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Large pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing experience
- Different qualifications or responsibilities may apply based on local legal and/or educational requirements. Refer to local job documentation where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all processes of the plant meet environmental control requirements and specifications of national and international agencies
- Take part in establishing and implementing Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyzes the environment by performing research and analysis activities to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures
- Provide safety orientation and training on safety methods and equipment
- Undertake difficult projects, assessments and solutions
- May instruct or coach other professionals
