About The Position

We’re looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist who wants to build influence in a manufacturing environment where safety and compliance truly matter. This role offers strong development potential for early-career professionals while also providing experienced EHS practitioners the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement efforts. You’ll partner closely with plant leadership and play a visible role in strengthening our safety culture and environmental performance.

Requirements

  • BS in related field with minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of compliance software, Microsoft Office software, strong diplomacy, effective communication, analytical aptitude, technical writing and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and processes
  • Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employee exposure to chemical and physical work hazards.
  • Perform weekly/monthly/yearly auditing, reporting, and recordkeeping for environmental, health and safety regulations
  • Familiarity with air, water, waste, DOT, and other environmental regulations and reporting for Federal, State and Local regulations
  • Knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment practices and waste management
  • Ensure conformity to ISO14001:2015
  • Conduct safety kaizens and ensure actions are followed through and sustainable
  • Investigation of workplace incidents
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards and maintain OSHA logs
  • Conduct routine safety meetings and trainings while driving cross functional safety team
  • Proactive approach on all safety related items for the site
  • Conduct routine safety audits and maintain action item closure
  • Provide cross-functional support to other Amphenol Sites when necessary
  • Complete periodic sustainability data collection and reporting
  • Arrange and conduct environmental, health, and safety training as required
  • Manage inspections and written correspondence with regulatory agencies
  • Support R&D/Engineering on new product development efforts as required
  • Travel as necessary
