About The Position

The primary focus of this position is identifying and implementing safety processes and procedures throughout the Husqvarna Distribution Network. What You Need to Know: Partner closely with Group Safety team to ensure seamless alignment of systems for reporting and capturing information on safety-related incidents. This includes maintaining consistency in incident documentation, facilitating timely communication, and supporting the adoption of best practices across the organization to foster a proactive safety culture. Design, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive monthly safety training curriculum. Ensure that all distribution and warehouse locations remain fully compliant with OSHA requirements by tailoring training topics to address emerging risks, regulatory updates, and site-specific needs. Work collaboratively with site leadership to establish and maintain a system for tracking forklift operator licenses and renewal compliance. Develop and oversee a standardized forklift training program to ensure consistent safety standards and operational excellence across all facilities. Serve as a key resource for employees experiencing work-related injuries, providing guidance on incident reporting, recovery protocols, and return-to-work processes. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure that all cases are managed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA reporting requirements and ensure that all safety incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions are accurately documented and reported. Support the business teams and support staff in all phases of capital equipment upgrades. Lead the development and implementation of ongoing employee development strategies, including the creation of targeted training programs that promote continuous learning, skill enhancement, and professional growth within the EHS domain. Ensure all locations have clear and up-to-date documentation for the Emergency Action Plans. Coordinate and deliver annual training sessions to reinforce emergency preparedness, response protocols, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 4+ years of EHS experience
  • Good communication skills to create collaborative environment with all distribution/warehouse locations.
  • Knowledge of typical distribution/warehouse operations system and equipment operated in these environments.
  • Willingness to investigate topics and apply knowledge to formulate consistent safety programs for the network.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of practices and methods for developing and administering a comprehensive EHS program, including designing employee EHS training programs.
  • Must be proficient in performing EHS assessments to identify workplace hazards and determining appropriate control measures.
  • Broad knowledge of the methods and practices for conducting accident and workplace safety audits and investigations required.
  • Flexibility to travel to sites: 15% requirement
