Job Description The Process Safety Specialist is responsible for the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the Process Safety Management (PSM) programs at the Beaumont site, in accordance with CFR 1910.119. This position will also support compliance with EPA’s Risk Management Program (RMP) 40 CFR Part 68. This position reports to the Beaumont site EHS Manager. As a Process Safety Specialist you will work to identify process safety risks within chemical manufacturing operations and will be responsible for developing, proposing, and implementing mitigation strategies and programs. You will be responsible for establishing and continuously improving the Process Safety Management (PSM) programs at the site and supporting other departments in complying with regulatory and Veolia process safety requirements. You will lead and participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, management of change (MOC), processes hazard analysis (PHA) studies, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Technology, Global Process Chemistry and other EHS functions in the Veolia business.
