Job Summary Environmental Health and Safety resource supporting distribution center operations. Primary function of the EHS Process Technician is to facilitate the EHS function at PG&A Distribution Centers. This role will report through EHS and will work closely with Operations and Maintenance in building world class safety performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, crouch, walk, climb stairs, twist/bend upper body.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-4 years supply chain/distribution experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong floor presence to drive EHS culture and safe behaviors.
  • Support incident investigations, corrective/preventative action follow-up, and incident documentation.
  • Deliver EHS training and maintain training documents and files.
  • Support EHS program management in accordance regulatory requirements (ex. PPE, Ergonomics, Hazard Communication, Heat Stress, Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Powered Industrial Trucks, etc.)
  • Coordinate First Responder program.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly EHS inspections and input data gathered into spreadsheets/databases
  • Perform ergonomic evaluations (HumanTech) and assign related action planning.
  • Participate in EHS related projects as needed and identified based on facility priorities or departmental needs.
  • Oversee PPE and safety supplies (first aid kits, eye wash stations, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.
