About The Position

The EHS Manager leads Environmental, Health, and Safety efforts at the facility, driving compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong safety culture. You’ll partner with plant leadership to reduce risk, prevent injuries, and ensure all regulatory and company safety standards are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and safety regulations
• Experience leading audits, training programs, and safety initiatives
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel up to 10–20%

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other EHS regulations
• Lead safety programs focused on injury prevention and cost reduction
• Develop and deliver safety training across the facility
• Manage Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Fire Prevention programs
• Lead audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-up
• Review new equipment and processes for safety compliance
• Administer Workers’ Compensation and return-to-work programs
• Serve as the facility lead for emergency response and security incidents
• Manage the EHS budget and support other Hoffmaster facilities as needed
• Promote a visible, proactive, injury-free safety culture
