About The Position

The EHS Manager, reporting to the Director, VES, will collaborate with site and regional leaders to develop, deploy, and continuously improve Environmental, Health & Safety programs. This role aims to mitigate risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen a proactive safety culture, playing a key part in implementing Veralto Business System (VES) and compliance-driven EHS programs across site value streams. The position is part of the EHS function, supporting operations through on-site and regional engagement, including domestic travel up to 10% and occasional international travel. This role is based on-site in Hemet, CA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental, Health and Safety with 7 years of related work experience OR Master of Science degree in Environmental, Health and Safety with 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS management systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local EHS regulations and their application to site operations.
  • Experience managing environmental compliance programs, including hazardous waste, air permits, stormwater, and spill prevention programs.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10% to support auditing and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs that drive regulatory compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation.
  • Leading EHS-related projects, including Veralto Business System initiatives and Kaizen activities.
  • Partnering with site leadership to advance safety culture, awareness, and accountability.
  • Interfacing with EHS committees, Emergency Response, and Crisis Management teams.
  • Evaluating federal, state, and local EHS regulations and translating requirements into compliant programs.
  • Managing environmental compliance programs and metrics, including air permits, hazardous waste, stormwater, spill prevention, chemical tracking, and Form R reporting.
  • Conducting audits, industrial hygiene sampling, ergonomic assessments, and supporting pollution prevention activities.
