The EHS Manager, reporting to the Director, VES, will collaborate with site and regional leaders to develop, deploy, and continuously improve Environmental, Health & Safety programs. These programs aim to mitigate risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture. This role is crucial for implementing Veralto Business System (VES) and compliance-driven EHS programs across site value streams. The position is part of the EHS function, supporting operations through on-site and regional engagement, requiring domestic travel up to 10% and occasional international travel. This role is based on-site in Hemet, CA.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental, Health and Safety with 7 years of related work experience OR Master of Science degree in Environmental, Health and Safety with 5+ years of related work experience.
Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS management systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Working knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local EHS regulations and their application to site operations.
Experience managing environmental compliance programs, including hazardous waste, air permits, stormwater, and spill prevention programs.
Ability to travel domestically up to 10% to support auditing and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

Developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs that drive regulatory compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation.
Leading EHS-related projects, including Veralto Business System initiatives and Kaizen activities.
Partnering with site leadership to advance safety culture, awareness, and accountability.
Interfacing with EHS committees, Emergency Response, and Crisis Management teams.
Evaluating federal, state, and local EHS regulations and translating requirements into compliant programs.
Managing environmental compliance programs and metrics, including air permits, hazardous waste, stormwater, spill prevention, chemical tracking, and Form R reporting.
Conducting audits, industrial hygiene sampling, ergonomic assessments, and supporting pollution prevention activities.
