WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Be the EHS/ESG champion who motivates, inspires, instills passion and drives continues improvement! Be responsible for coordination, alignment, harmonization, best practice sharing and communication on EHS and ESG programs Facilitate EHS and ESG program objective setting and facilitate strategic direction Provide clear and continuous direction to the site teams Develop and utilize proactive ESG tools and deploy improvements as needed Lead environmental processes to ensure company and regulatory requirements are met in relation to hazardous/special waste management, water discharge & air permitting obligations Manage ESG targets in correlation with nVent 2030 ESG targets Lead effective monitoring of EHS/ESG federal (national), state, and local regulatory requirements and risk initiatives; analyze potential impacts on system operations; provide operations and executive management information as appropriate Coordinate and engage plant personnel in the identification, development and implementation of EHS/ESG goals that will positively affect and add value to the organization Manage both EHS (incidents) reporting and ESG reporting set and deploy standards as needed Train to and certify employees to OSHA 10 & 30 principles All other duties as assigned by Manager YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) in EHS, Operations, Engineering, or business, MBA or master's level education or equivalent work experience 5+ years of progressive experience leading safety and environmental management systems Exposure in a multi-cultural working environment preferable Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role strongly preferred Ability to travel 20-30% of the time WE HAVE: A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
