EHS Guidance Counselors for the Student Success, Engagement and Graduation Intervention Program (In Person Program))

Requirements

• Hold a valid New Jersey School Counselor certificate.
• Have excellent experience in teaching and working with children.
• Experience working with High School students and with HS transcript data.
• Possess data analysis skills in support of credit recovery and graduation goals.
• Has a thorough understanding of graduation requirements.
• Must be committed to developing familiarity with online credit-recovery program data.
• Have excellent integrity and demonstrates good moral character and initiative.
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and sensitive interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
• Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management.
• Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
• Pending budget availability
