EHS Compliance Technician — Precast Manufacturing

About The Position

In our precast/prestressed concrete production facility, you support a safe, high‑quality operation by helping implement and uphold company Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies that meet local, state, and federal requirements. From a morning walkthrough of work areas to an afternoon policy update, you will collaborate closely with supervisors while working under direct supervision in this entry‑level role. How you contribute Participate in designing and refining facility layouts, work areas, and procedures; recommend EHS improvements that enhance safety and efficiency. Prepare, maintain, and update environmental policy and procedure manuals to reflect current practices. Monitor compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and track changes to laws and standards that affect the plant. Serve as a point of contact with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Quality and safety mindset All employees are expected to follow Safety and Quality rules and processes to maintain a safe workplace and produce high‑quality products. What you bring Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant workplace training and experience may substitute for a degree. Entry‑level experience; work is performed under direct supervision. If you’re eager to learn, detail‑oriented, and interested in building a strong foundation in manufacturing EHS, this role offers hands‑on exposure within a specialized concrete production environment.
