About The Position

The EHR Support Analyst II serves as a key onsite clinical IT resource for facility implementation and support of a broad set of clinical applications. This role involves leading the facility's core clinical systems team, providing second-level support as a clinical subject matter expert, and managing new module/application testing and implementation. The analyst will also facilitate maintenance of facility-specific dictionaries and develop training materials for clinical applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in clinical application support or related clinical work experience.
  • Understanding of clinical operations and processes.
  • Knowledge of accreditation guidelines such as JCAHO, MQSA, HIPAA, and ACR.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong relationships across diverse personality types.
  • Effective communication skills with clinical and IT personnel, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated customer orientation and excellent leadership abilities.
  • Advanced computer skills and understanding of reporting tools functionality.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensing or credentials within specific clinical specialty preferred.
  • Possession/Maintenance of specialty clinical licensure is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key onsite clinical IT resource for facility implementation and support of clinical applications.
  • Lead and facilitate the facility's core clinical systems team on clinical IT activities.
  • Provide second-level support to resolve incidents or fulfill requests from the division Service Desk.
  • Manage resolution of clinical application incidents and requests in collaboration with enterprise and division experts.
  • Serve as project leader for facility-based implementations of clinical applications software releases and new products.
  • Provide on-call assistance as needed.
  • Lead, monitor, and facilitate new module/application testing and implementation for the facility.
  • Facilitate and manage maintenance of facility-specific dictionaries.
  • Develop training materials and deliver hands-on training as needed.
  • Promote and support division standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization plans for clinical applications.
  • Coordinate facility clinical application reporting requests and assist with defining report requirements.
  • Perform quality audits and track metrics related to clinical application use.
  • Build strong relationships with core customer base and facility leadership.
