About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, health informatics, or related field — OR equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of EHR support experience (healthcare or FQHC experience is a major plus!).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for helping people succeed with technology.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and general IT support.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications like MCP, MCSE, or CompTIA (A+/N+) are a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily and weekly EHR maintenance to keep systems healthy, accurate, and efficient.
  • Provide friendly, hands‑on support to staff for EHR needs, troubleshooting, workflows, and access.
  • Manage user onboarding and permissions across multiple clinical systems (Athena Practice, Dentrix, Liberty, Clearwave, Referral Tracking, and more).
  • Assist with integrating clinical devices such as imaging systems, Ultrasound, RetinaVue, and other tools used in patient care.
  • Respond to service desk requests with empathy, clarity, and a commitment to excellent service.
  • Troubleshoot devices, printers, peripherals, and hardware used throughout the organization.
  • Support server, network, and software administration alongside the IT team.
  • Maintain Microsoft 365, Active Directory, security groups, and print services.
  • Assist with upgrades, updates, training, system improvements, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT leaders to drive smoother workflows and better patient experiences.
  • Jump in on special projects that enhance the quality, safety, and efficiency of care.
