Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run June - December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). Co-op can sit at one of the following Avionics locations: Cedar Rapids, IA Burnsville, MN Melbourne, FL Wilson, NC Wilsonville, OR
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of EH&S programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as RTX policies and procedures.
- Conduct workplace safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the implementation of training programs to educate employees on EH&S policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in risk assessments and support the development of mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and documentation.
- Support emergency response planning, drills, and incident investigations as needed.
