About The Position

Our Egg Packers play an essential role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reach our customers in perfect condition. The Egg Packer is responsible for accurately and efficiently packing eggs, ensuring product quality, and labeling boxes correctly. This role operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and adherence to food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, alert, and capable of maintaining productivity and quality in their work area.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift or more.
Physical capability to lift up to 20 pounds throughout the shift.
Good hand/finger dexterity and the ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
High attention to detail and alertness in a fast-paced environment.
Awareness of surroundings and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Pack eggs quickly and accurately, maintaining the pace of the production line.
Handle eggs with care to minimize breakage and ensure product quality.
Check and verify code dates and traceability information on packaging for accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, following good housekeeping practices.
Communicate any food safety or quality concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Conduct visual inspections of eggs for any damage, defects, or inconsistencies.
Perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors or managers to support production needs.
