About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled EEG Technologist to join a high-performing Diagnostic Neurology team. This role is responsible for conducting electroencephalographic (EEG) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient experience, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of EEG experience (inpatient experience required)
• REEGT (Registered EEG Technologist) certification – required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
• High School Diploma or GED – required
• Active certifications must be in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications)

Nice To Haves

• CLTM (Certified Long-Term Monitoring) – preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced EEG studies in an inpatient setting
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring proper electrode placement and comfort
• Monitor, record, and analyze brain wave activity for abnormalities
• Identify and document seizure activity and other neurological events
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and test results
• Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of EEG equipment
• Collaborate with neurologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
