About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is an experienced EEG Technologist to join a high-volume Diagnostic Neurology unit. The ideal candidate will perform neurodiagnostic testing, including EEG studies, while ensuring accurate data collection and delivering high-quality patient care in an inpatient hospital setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of EEG experience (inpatient required)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Active REEGT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of EEG equipment and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- CLTM certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and continuous EEG studies for inpatient and outpatient populations
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures, including electrode application and setup
- Monitor and accurately record electrical brain activity
- Identify and document abnormal waveforms and events
- Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment
- Ensure accurate patient documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with neurologists and clinical teams
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Assist with long-term monitoring studies as needed
- Ensure timely completion of EEG reports
