Requirements

Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephelographic and Evoked Potential Technologists, Inc. (ABRET).
Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).

Responsibilities

Perform Neurodiagnostic Testing: Conduct EEG, continuous EEG, and ambulatory EEG recordings under indirect supervision following established departmental policies and demonstrated competency.
Maintain Accurate Documentation: Ensure all EEG studies include complete and accurate patient records and route data promptly for physician review and interpretation.
Maintain Clean and Organized Work Environment: Clean electrodes, equipment, and lab areas according to policy and restock supplies to support smooth operations.
Support Equipment Maintenance: Assist Clinical Engineering with scheduled preventive maintenance and promptly report equipment issues for troubleshooting and repair.
Carry Out Additional Responsibilities: Perform all other assigned duties to support efficient department function and high-quality patient care.
