Provides electrocardiograms, 24-hour holter monitor hook-ups, infant hearing screens and stress testing. Provides procedures for patients from newborn to maturity in keeping with departmental standards and practices. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- MINIMUM EDUCATION: Certified/Registered in performing Electro neurodiagnostic studies or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- NON-REGISTERED - 6 months in performing EEG's in a clinical setting.
- REGISTERED - Professional credentials in a least one modality
- Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire

- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: REGISTERED - 2 years in Electro neurodiagnostic technology
- PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registered ABRET
Responsibilities
- Performs electroencephalographs and evoked potentials on both inpatients and outpatients
- Schedules patients for any and all procedures performed in the department that requires an appointment.
- Coordinates appointments with physicians and/or other departments.
- Performs Hearing Screens
- Performs Stress Tests/Tilt Table
- Performs, recognizes and understands electroencephalograph (EEG) and evoked potential (EP) activity displayed on inpatients and out patients.
- Provides electrocardiograms, 24-hour holter monitor hook-ups, infant hearing screens and stress testing.
- Provides procedures for patients from newborn to maturity in keeping with departmental standards and practices.
- Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
- Other related duties as assigned.
