Assistant Manager, EEG will primarily function both as a people leader and as a clinical care provider. Assistant Manager will develop, implement, and oversee clinical processes, provide clinical services, and lead others in providing clinical services through EEG studies including patient set ups and remote EEG monitoring (from in-home and/or in office workspace). Through a HIPAA compliant remote connection, Manager will access live and retrospective patient studies to assess test integrity, annotate requisite information per CMS guidelines, detect and document EEG abnormalities, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain open dialogue with interpreting neurologists as necessary. The Manager will monitor multiple (up to 12) concurrent studies as the primary function of their daily workload initially, while also working to build out new business infrastructure and systems. As needed, Manager will set up patients with a standard 16-channel EEG either in office, in hospital/healthcare facility, or within actual patient homes utilizing the international 10-20 system. Manager may be tasked with unhooking patients after the conclusion of their studies as well. The Manager will be responsible for identifying and relaying technical issues and contributing to the solution. Clinically, this may require a visit to the patient in their home to correct any technical issues. Manager will be required to edit, clip, prune, and save EEG studies within patient EMR and maintain correspondence with interpreting neurologists regarding study interpretation and referring physician follow-up. Assistant Manager is responsible for clinical oversight of all technologist’s general maintenance of credentialing, facility contracting, customer satisfaction as well as study coverage as needed.
