About The Position
Ashland Public Schools is seeking dynamic, Educational Support Professionals with previous experience to support our special education summer program. Dates/Times: 5 weeks: July 7, 2026 through August 6, 2026 For Educational Support Professionals hired for the summer camp, Monday, July 6, 2026 will be a required preparation day with the ability to set up classroom space and participate in a mandatory summer training. This will be a paid 4 hour day 9-1. The 3rd week of camp will run Monday through Friday (THAT WEEK ONLY) (The number of positions needed is contingent upon student enrollment) $22.00 per hour for Educational Support Professionals
Requirements
- previous experience to support our special education summer program
Responsibilities
- Supporting a warm, inclusive classroom
- Supporting small group and individual direct instruction per students individual IEPs
- Supporting academics and classroom instruction
- Assisting with social groups/play activities
- Supporting students at recess who are attending the camp model
- Assistance during arrival and dismissal of students
