Yellowstone Club’s Golf Maintenance department is currently seeking candidates for a Landscaper for the upcoming Summer season! Our Summer employment months are May - October. The purpose of the Landscaper is to assist the Landscape Manager in the general upkeep of various Yellowstone Club landscape areas, features and some adjoining golf course grounds. This work may also include the grading, planting, rock work, irrigation and mulching of new beds or features throughout the property.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work.
  • Previous landscaping experience preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of the operation of landscape utility vehicles, mowers, and trimmers.
  • Work outside in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to see, hear, smell, and have manual dexterity to use all equipment.
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Previous work experience at a resort or Club helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the gardening, mowing, raking, trimming and general upkeep of the Club property.
  • Plant and prune ornamental trees and shrubs around property.
  • Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to newly installed landscaping beds and features.
  • Perform spring and fall clean-ups for Yellowstone Club grounds and adjacent golf course areas, including minor snow removal in some instances.
  • Manual labor includes the use of shovels, rakes, trimmers, blowers, edgers, as well as hand picking weeds, fertilization and watering.
  • Operate light maintenance equipment, utility vehicles and trucks as authorized by Landscape Manager and Director.
  • Report equipment problems or failure to the equipment manager immediately.
  • Clean and organize the maintenance equipment and storage areas daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, related to landscaping upkeep throughout the property.
