About The Position

Duties: Provide instructional services to students in such a way as to implement the individual instructional program for those students assigned while under the direction and supervision of the teacher.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable to the teacher responsible for the particular IEP of individual students assigned to the Teacher Assistant.
• Follow all policies and procedures of TLC.
• Maintain appropriate behavior management procedures.
• Provide supervision of students assigned at all times when the students are under their responsibility as defined by the schedule.
• Maintain records and data keeping systems as related to each student assigned.
• Participate in staff development workshops as required.
• Provide transportation, with the appropriate Public Service License, as directed.
• Participate in field trips and wilderness activities when appropriate.
