Educational Paraprofessional
About The Position
Parish Hill Middle/High School is seeking an organized, energetic, and compassionate paraprofessional for special education / classroom support. The paraprofessional works under the supervision of a certified teacher to support students during whole class and small group instruction as well as guiding individual students to reinforce reading, writing, and math skills. The paraprofessional will also assist with record-keeping to document student learning and progress. Paraprofessionals assist with behavior management to minimize disruption and ensure students are on task. Responsibilities will include lunch or recess supervision. Previous experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or completion of 60 college credits or a passing score on the ETS/ParaPro Assessment Exam
