About The Position

Region 14 Vacancy POSITION: Paraprofessional LOCATION: Mitchell Elementary School / District Wide SALARY: Per Contract START DATE: ASAP DEADLINE: Until filled GENERAL DUTIES: Work collaboratively with special education team, independently deliver instruction planned by certified staff; implement behavior plans; collect data on student performance; exhibit an understanding of modifications and adaptations that can be made in the mainstream classroom setting in order to promote student success.

Requirements

• Experience working with behaviorally challenged students
• Excellent teaming, collaboration and communication skills
• HS diploma and proof of passing Para Pro exam with relevant experience or college degree
• Letter of interest
• Resume
• 3 Reference letters

Nice To Haves

• Behavior management training (PMT)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
