About The Position

Region 14 Vacancy POSITION: Paraeducator Substitutes As Needed LOCATION: All Schools START DATE: ASAP DEADLINE DATE: Until filled SALARY: $16.50 per hour GENERAL DUTIES: Work collaboratively with special education team, independently deliver instruction planned by certified staff; collect data on student performance; assist children with disabilities; foster independence, implement communication and behavior plans; exhibit an understanding of modifications and adaptations that can be made in the classroom setting in order to promote student success. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with students with disabilities. Comprehensive knowledge of childhood development. Excellent teaming, collaboration and communication skills. Current PMT/First Aid certification preferred. Candidates of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
