About The Position

If you have experience with the education system and are looking for a new way to use your skills that can be personally and professionally rewarding, we've got an opportunity for you as an Educational Engagement Manager working with school systems to allow our ABA therapists in the classroom with clients. Reporting to the Vice President of Stakeholder and School Outreach, you will serve as a bridge between regional educational entities and ABA Centers of America, ensuring that educators and administrators understand the services our ABA therapy provides. The Educational Engagement Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of care between ABA Centers of Virginia and our client children.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in education, preferably Special Education.
  • Experience working in education with teachers, SPED administrators, and school administrators.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ABA, early childhood education, or social services (preferred).
  • Healthcare experience (preferred).
  • Flexibility to travel within the designated region as needed.
  • Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of educational policies, practices, and resources.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to promoting equity and inclusion in education.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, costs, and results in projects.
  • Ability to think proactively, collaborate, and adapt to various situations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with regional school departments and districts, as well as other stakeholders, to support the educational initiatives of providing ABA therapy to students while in school.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for schools and educational organizations within the designated region.
  • Foster open lines of communication between schools, school districts, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Serve as point person for the region, including ABA families, schools, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and coordinate company resources and services available to schools and educational institutions within the region.
  • Cultivate relationships with community stakeholders, school leadership, and statewide administrators to champion the organization’s vision of ABA services in schools and achieve service agreements.
  • Advocate for the needs of autistic students as you collaborate with educators and schools within the region.
  • Provide support and guidance to schools in addressing challenges and implementing best practices to improve educational, social, and behavioral outcomes of the students we serve.
