About The Position

North Orange County Community College District is now accepting applications for a Part time, Educational Coach (EC) at NOCE ! Job description: An EC provides course guidance and additional support to students with disabilities in meeting their individual academic needs. Specific Allowable Activities Pursuant to this position: Provide academic guidance and self-advocacy support in inclusive courses Assist participants in developing natural supports on campus Assist participants in accessing campus resources Provide guidance in time management, organization, and study skills Track student educational plan and student progress notes Communicate & collaborate with program staff on participants’ successes, challenges, progress, and concerns Provide monthly participant progress reports to program staff Schedule: February 2026-June 30, 2026 38.5 weeks/26 hours a week max; flexible hours availability between Monday-Friday 9:00am- 3:00pm desired. Unpaid lunch Potential for contract renewal for fiscal year July 1, 2026-June 2027 Hours are not guaranteed. Substitute options are also available. 1 position open to be filled for 2025-2026; potential for rehire for the next academic year, 2026-2027. Requirements

  • Skilled with technology (Zoom, Canvas, Microsoft Suite, Google Platform)
  • High School Diploma or GED
